The YDTC serves as a link between the Democrats in the Town of Yarmouth and elected officials at the local, state, and national level. We look for outstanding candidates who carry out the Democratic mission, carry petitions to get them on the ballot, and then work to get those candidates elected. We contact and meet regularly with elected officials, providing them with feedback from their constituents in Yarmouth.
"All politics is local."

Make Yarmouth a better place to live
Together with Democratic representatives from Yarmouth and the other towns on Cape Cod, we make up the Cape and Islands Democratic Council (CIDC). In turn, the CIDC elects members to the Massachusetts State Democratic Committee which then elects members to the Democratic National Committee.
